Shoghi Effendi, was the Guardian and eldest grandson of Abdu'l-Baha, is born of Abdu'l-Baha's eldest daughter in the House of Abdu'llah Pasha (March 1, 1897). He is descended from Baha'u'llah on his mother's side and related to the Bab on his father's side.
