The Bab is removed from the fortress of Mah-Ku by orders of Haji Mirza aqasi

Incarceration of the Bab in Chihriq, Adhirbayjan

Due to the great influence He was having with the people of the area, the Bab is transferred to prison in Chirig, a Kurdish area hostile to Persians. Here too many leading citizens become followers. The Bab is arraigned in Tabriz where He makes a dramatic public declaration of His Station. He is returned to Chirig
